People tend to misunderstand what or who Kiver is.
Kiver isn't an identity. Its an entity.
He/It is the testament to abuse and anger. The avatar of hate incarnate.
2 years ago or so, I was getting sick of being pushed around, a bottom feeder with few friends and lacking in any sort of say whatsoever. So one fine day someone tells me to take up the "killer" persona. To be dangerous. Kiver is taken from the name "Ninjaki" with the suffix, "version 2" Hence, "ninjaKI VERsion 2" Ninjas are cliche, thus I opted to go for Kiver because it sounded nice. Kiver was born as a name for my little gaming projects. Soon after, Kiver was my plaything in this online world. To do what I wish.
A couple of months later, he would be something more than just a name. I started to resent the people around me. Not my family, not my friends. Just the public in general. The people who stand in the background, watching, waiting, doing nothing. Much like the rise of the working class in communism, Kiver represented that. He didn't like getting pushed around, neither did I.
He started out as a character with green hair and wore black throughout. Soon after his self defense, I changed his clothing to red. Something a bit more sinister than black. Black is somewhat dark and mysterious, but red showed he wasn't afraid of anything or anyone. Red was evil rather than dark, showing people he isn't afraid of using force to get what he wants than just emo threats. In the words of another player, she commented "best to let go of pent up rage than to keep it in but you are getting serious."
This history may or may not be continued in future. But as it stands, Kiver's gone from hate-incarnate to pretty much soft and mellowed down. Vengeance is no longer a priority.
Archives October 2008November 2008 a dream for Claire : [2008] is a music/sound project started mid-year. I won't play instruments nor will I record songs. What I do is to work on, improve or to just draft out beats that make your feet tap and your heart sing. (This blog as nothing to do with the project, I just have no other name for it.)
This blog's theme and overall feel is based on the song "Unknown Soldier" by Breaking Benjamin, especially the chorus line, "Show me what its like, to dream in black and white." I like that line cause of its simplicity. "Dream in black and white", not something everyone can do. It is to make everything that is complex seem so simple and easy to understand. And that's what I learn from Claire, to dream in black and white.
